Recording Commences - New Album

After months of demos, the recording of flinders Debut Album has kicked off. A pretty successful first week was had, all guide tracks are down and a lot of the instrumentation as well.

Les Keye, an active member of the flinders live act is producing/engineering the record.
Week 2 will involve finishing off all of the playing and recording and checking to make sure there aren’t more than a handful of mistakes by your truly.

flinders has found that independent shoestring recording is not really the “hilarious crazy” experience you read about when you have four producers, three engineers, 14 weeks in the studio and unlimited funds (see Guns and Roses circa “Use your Illusions”).
